Hmmm, I think Fix-it Friday should officially be renamed Finesse-it Friday, cause there hasn’t been a picture in much need of “fixing” in quite a while! Dana, your daughter is BEAUTIFUL, and so is your picture of her!!

Here are the images and the steps I took to finesse this image…

1. Opened it in PS and applied FB’s Cashmere action.
2. FB’s Hazelnut texture, hard light mode, gaussian blurred off darling girl.
3. Lasso’d Dana’s daughter for a levels adjustment (moved the “blacks” in a bit) to defog her a bit.
4. TRA Select o Pop action on hair, face, tutu.
5. TRA Select o Sharp action on hair, face, tutu.
6. RLS Light Leak action, threw away a couple layers, just keeping the light leak.

Totally simple fix:
1. In LR, cropped tight.
2. Converted to b/w with OW’s Golden Field, tweaked for jpg.
3. Changed the toning a little.

I totally love a great roadtrip adventure with my dudes, or a cozy afternoon curled up with a good book. “Reality” tv totally sucks me in. I prefer my chocolate to be semi-sweet and my Diet Coke to have a squirt of root beer in it. Photography makes my heart sing and waterskiing leaves me sore & limping but deeply satisfied.
