The I Heart Faces Photo Challenge is meant to create a sense of community in the blogging world.

Our photo challenge began well before Facebook, Google+, Pinterest and Instagram. There were very few photo challenges when we launched our first one in January of 2009. We are proud that it’s been going strong for over 5 years now!

We’re celebrating our 5th year anniversary this month with a “Best Face of 2013″ Photo Challenge starting Monday, January 13-18th with prizes and an inspiring guest judge. You also won’t want to miss out on our BIG surprise giveaway we will be announcing soon!

Because it’s our 5th anniversary, our guest judge will be choosing 5 photo challenge winners and giving out fun prizes to each person!

It’s been a wonderful 5  years! We have gotten to know so many talented photographers and bloggers. Along with watching your children grow, we have enjoyed seeing your blogs and photography businesses soar!

I Heart Faces Photo Challenge Changes for 2014

Even though the challenges were originally made for bloggers, you don’t have to have a blog to participate in our photo challenge, you can submit links to photos with a Flickr account, and new to 2014, an Instagram or Facebook account! (The Facebook page must be public so we can see your photos.)

Visit our How it Works Page to get more details on the challenge rules and starting looking through those photos from last year. You will be able to submit your photo challenge links on Monday, January 13th. Tell your friends!

Unquestionably consider that which you stated. Your favorite justification seemed to be on the internet the simplest thing to
keep in mind of. I say to you, I definitely get irked
while folks think about issues that they just don’t realize about.

You managed to hit the nail upon the highest and also defined out the
entire thing with no need side effect , folks could take a
signal. Will probably be again to get more. Thanks

I had a family, originally from Florida, but now living in TN contact me about having some “quick family photos taken” for their Christmas card for 2013. We chose our location…a spot along a lake, and our day…one of the coldest of the year! Yay us! This sweet girl nearly froze but in between shots of the family, I snuck a few of each of the children. This was my favorite of the day and of 2013!

Yes, Yes!! I heart faces was the first place I felt the community spirit amongst photographers–well before all the social media apps appeared. You have helped so many, inspired everyone to pick up the camera and document their lives. It definitely has been cool watching members’ families grow through the challenges. To many more years. Congratulations!

Is the challenge of photos that were submitted in the past or do we upload a new picture for this?
