This month’s Summer Fun Photo Challenge gave us a chance to remember all the fun we’ve had this summer.

Arden wrote: I kept going back to this image. I felt as if this was a moment “we” could all relate to. It brought me back to childhood, dreaming, swinging, wondering and playing make believe. I also love the details of her hair, the movement and the negative space. Every mama would LOVE to have a shot of their sweet kiddo like this. KUDOS to you and congrats on taking a fabulous image!

Second Place: Summer Murdock

This photo is hilarious. Before I clicked on it I loved it, but seeing it bigger… and seeing the buns, made me love it even more! I love silly and perfect kid moments! Great job.

WOW, what a dream image. I adore the colors, the golden light, the props and the playful moment. Totally canvas worthy!

I really love the grain on this image, because it’s truly a timeless image. I also adore the vast landscape with the little tot enjoying the never-ending playground.

What a cool chikadee! The colors, the lines, the focus on the little gal. I really love the mid century modern feel!

Sixth Place: Katie Ramey

What a precious moment from the flick of the hand, the holding of the paint and the intent and oh so serious stare. I also love the clean and pastel edit… just adorable!

Seventh Place: Melissa Lazuka

Um, can I please bite those thighs? As a mama of three I totally fell for this image. I imagine the massive smile on the other side of the camera. There is something so special about snagging these adorable moments, what a treasure.

Eighth Place: Kate T Parker

Only daddies can be trusted like this. The playful, terrifying and exhilarating moment all kids love! I also love the wide perspective and the clouds!

Ninth Place: Meg Malley

I know photographing sun-flare and a golden backlit subject isn’t easy, but to add an adorably happy girl with that stance… great job!

Tenth Place: Christina McGuire

There was something magical about this image! I love the movement, the candid bliss and the depth of the surroundings. Way to go!
