This month’s photo challenge was definitely a happy one!   When we visited each entry we left with a big smile after viewing all the different sorts of happy…from the very quietest to the most boisterous…it was lovely to see all the lovely faces!

We were excited to invite Amy Wenzel to  join us as our Guest Photographer Judge this month (be sure to read her photography interview for great tips and advice!)  She certainly had her work cut out for her and after carefully culling down all of the entries, she chose these beautiful images as her very top favorites.  Huge congratulations to everyone whose image was chosen in the Top Ten.  You should be very proud!

Amy wrote: I adored Laura’s photo for the “Happiness” theme. I felt instantly drawn into this couple’s love story. The connection between the two of them seems so authentic and strong and the girl looks so vulnerably happy! The bright red dress as the only dash of color made this photo stand out in a unique way. The photo is so subtle and yet so bold all at the same time. The lighting, composition and post-processing are also terrific! Looking at this image makes me feel happy all the way to my toes.
