#355 I just loved the face of Little C in this image and the fun they were having playing Ring around the rosy! Who didn’t love that game! =)
I accidentally posted it twice
My internet stopped working, so I didn’t think it posted. Sorry!
I entered “Lake Powell Fun” #336 because when I asked the kids what is the most fun we have as a family. It wasn’t Disneyland, it was Lake Powell without any hesitation! On this shot, we found some puddles while hiking and the kids had fun getting wet. Thanks for the opportunity to share! Love seeing everybody else’s shots!
so many fun photos this week!
Boys Being Boys – Love color and loved capturing these brothers in their element — especially when my days consist of dresses and drama!! Beautiful entries!
#327 “Diff Siblings”– I love how this shot captures the dynamic of these three siblings. There is an obviously huge age gap between them, and yet they all get along and love each other so much. Shooting with a baby and then two teenage kids was a challenge, but I love how the shoot turned out overall.
http://www.parentgrapevine.com/2012/01/family-fun-family-that-plays-together.html Thanks for checking out our photo. I took this self-timed image on Jan 1. We are a rock ‘n roll family
This is a picture of my Auntie, my cousin who I think was supposed to be my twin and her daughter. I love them!! Also, sorry for the amount of entries!! It wasn’t working and then I decided to give up. I went back to check on it and there were 5 of them. OOPS!!
Oh no! It looks like my entry posted twice… #195 & a few after that! So sorry!
Thanks for checking mine out!

#299 This photo will always be my most memorable keepsake photo ever. This photo was captured on National Adoption Day 2011 as we exited the courtroom… a FOREVER FAMILY. We are joined hand in hand along with our 3yr old grandson and our 4yr old newly adopted daughter. The photo in my opinion epitomize the word FAMILY and no doubt signfies the FUN we will have with this precious child PLUS 6grandkids.
#289 Hay Field Fun. It was a cold beautiful November morning when I got to capture this family. Cute/busy boys with such personality, it was neat to see them being their selves in the photo! A lot of great pics here!
I’m not seeing my entry– so it might be on here about four times, if it finally shows up!
P Sorry about that! It’s called “Our New Home,” taken with my family just after we moved into our first house.
) Thanks!
oh gosh, I apologize! It was giving me an error and now there are three of them could you delete the two extras!! #273- Laughter
Sorry for the double posting (262 & 263)! It took about 10 minutes for the post to appear so I thought maybe I did it wrong on the first attempt. This photo was taken during a photo shoot where we set up a bed in the forest, a vision I had been toiling over for a while. And the grand finale – a feathery pillow fight! It was a blast. Hope you enjoy!
Check out my photo #259. It was a bitterly cold and rainy winter day. We had just a small window of time to try and capture some fun shots of this family, announcing the wonderful news of their second pregnancy. As it goes for 2 year olds, little O wasn’t too interested in having his picture taken. We resorted to silly faces, to try and get him to smile for the camera. In the end, the silly face photos were some of Mom, Amy’s favorites. (And, mine too!) What a fun family! O’s expression is priceless…reminds me of “Whatcha talkin’ about, Dad?”
Right now my photo is #266. Our family at the beach. The Oregon coast has always been a vacation destination for our family and here we have three generations celebrating happiness together!
Denise recently posted..Families
I entered a post, but it does have more than one picture. I wouldn’t win anyhow b/c the picture with faces is not the greatest, but it was a fun family moment and I wanted to join the fun anyhow, even if I don’t win. I hope that’s okay. I’m new here and will try for just one picture next time. If it’s a problem, I’m number 259 called “Popping.” Thanks. What a fun blog!!
I apologize for accidentally entering my photo twice (#235 & 236). Normally, the link shows up right away and it didn’t. Thought I did something wrong.
Took the shot of the kids snow tubing this afternoon and just happened by here to see what this week’s theme was. Seemed perfect!
#231. The kids took a break from riding bikes, running through the woods, and skipping rocks on the lake to take this quick pic. It was a fun day!
I think every family has one person that can have everyone just bust out laughing. So when I was thinking about the theme, this photo (#201) “joker” came to mind. I just loved the way that I was able to capture that moment.
I entered “Grandma’s Girls”. This photo is actually extended family of mine. We were having so much fun that day, doing some quick holiday photos. All the girls gathered around their Grandma for this quick photo, which ended up being one of my favorites!
#203 – Sometimes, my favorite shots are the ones I almost miss. This wonderful family was snuggling while I was about to change my lens. I quickly glanced up and saw what love was being exchanged and quickly shot this. It instantly became my favorite.
Fun and Love … best combinations for a family.
I entered “Reach 4 The Sky”, currently #200 or thereabouts. I love how her curls are frozen in space around her head.
So excited I finally remembered to enter this week!
My son was being such a daddy’s boy on this day!! A lil jealous but I looove it! LOL Check him out #192
love seeing all the great pictures as always
here is my entry:

#188 for now
#170 at this time…hoping I posted correctly! lots of fun was had this particular day with family, cousins, friends..
#152 for the moment: Me and my babies!!!! I had so much fun playing around with my kids and my wireless remote..Love the shots I got, and LOVE the memories more.
This is a photo of a very special friend who is in the last days of her remarkable life and she is spending some time having fun with her granddaughter and great-grandson. Their visit brought such joy for all…celebrating a beautiful life and the innocence of a life adventure just beginning. #76
Loving all these family photos …
I had so much fun photographing big brother and his younger twin sisters. Once the camera made an appearance the fun really began! Submitting #154 at this point.
photographing family is my favorite. To see the bond between loved ones is something so special.
#148: I love taking family pictures, but not everyone here is eager to pose for me! So, i had my boy draw all the memebers in the family and show them to my camera; he was bored of me and he showed it with his face!
Just a suggestion: Make the age restrictions more clear. I’m under sixteen and have entered several times, but didn’t know you had to be sixteen. I found out today on the FAQ page. I would suggest putting it right in the post. Definitely disappointing, I had the perfect picture for this week!
#136 (for now): A Mother’s Lap. I photographed this sweet, all-blonde family in my favorite kind of location: a clearing in the trees that we just happened upon, on the side of the road. Nothing quite like a mother with her babies, wrapped up on her lap.
(#126) I just love to photograph my two boys! They always have me laughing and I just love that red hair
These kids were having a great time while I was photographing them. Couldn’t resist this one! (#125 – Family Kisses)
#89. My photo is of one of my favorite families. They came here from the Ukraine to escape the Soviet Union, and somewhere down the line they had 16 children! None of them are twins and they are all from both parents (no brady bunch situation). The best part is they are one of the funniest and kindest families I know! This photo is only a snapshot of the amount of fun that is had in that household.
#78 My daughter let me take her family pictures for the challenge! They had a good time, too!
Lovely entries! Mine is my baby girl in a sea of wrapping paper, keeping her grandparents enthralled as she opens gift after gift.
Emma’s Day ~ my friend’s daughter Emma was baptized and I was able to be there. It was such a beautiful day and so filled with the spirit! For now my photo is #54… I Heart This Family!
#47 for the moment… A Granddaughter and her first birthday being entertained by her Grampy! Caught a great moment between the two of them! Wonderful pictures from everyone this week!!
I love my family! They were so fun!!! They had me laughing the whole session long. They boys wanted to do this pose and as soon as they all laid down they immediately started making funny faces!
(photo 48 for now)
I really enjoy taking pictures of families- especially when I can photograph them in their own environment. Tonight I submitted picture #19 (for now) called Farm Family. This photo was taken at the family’s ranch in Oregon. They own and work this land. The family wanted to take pictures to capture this moment in time since their daughter in a sophomore at Cornell and their son will graduate from high school soon. I often photograph families with older children and they always seem to like a photo of “their family” before their kids have their own family too.
Beautiful photos from everyone this week!
I love photographing families that genuinely are having a good time together! There is nothing worse that taking pictures of people that are not enjoying themselves. My entry is of a family with their 2 year old, all having fun, and loving being together!!
So many great entries this week!
Check out mine, #25 (for now)
