Have now decided bokeh is my new favourite thing 🙂 I’m not great at it, but love the effect!
Thanks for the tips!

Holiday lights have always been fun, but my hubby gave me a macro lens for Christmas! Now I’m obsessed! It was fun to see all of the different ideas.

I submitted 4 shots: 89, 91, 237, 238

Currently #193 Tucker. My post is of my son watching T.V. a few nights ago. The light on his face is from a flash light.

I am LOVING your site! I found it through Pinterest and I am smitten. I just bought my Canon EOS Rebel T3i last week and I am pretty clueless about photography. You site has helped soooo much! I laughed when I saw this post because I had been taking shots with bokeh in them all week and had no idea what it was called! 🙂 I accidently submitted two links because the first one never showed a picture? Thanks for hosting a fun link up!

Apologies for the multiple entries!

I swear I’m not computer illiterate, but when I entered my first submission, I received an error message. Then I went to check if my submission was listed, and it wasn’t so I submitted another.

Anyway, great challenge. We had fun shooting this one.

Diana December 21, 2011

So sorry for the multiple submissions guys, I kept getting an error message and didn’t realize that I post was made regardless… 🙁

Amanda Williams December 20, 2011

My entry is Number 116. The reason for the season. It’s easy to get caught up, and forget what and who it’s really all about. Simply a reminder for myself.

I love the non-competition weeks 🙂 I don’t feel so inadequate w/my photography and it is an awesome way to build community and learn a new photography skill! Thanks Angie and Amy!

Cassi December 20, 2011

I loved this challenge. I got to use one the first pictures I took with my new camera

I love all these Bokeh shots. They are beautiful. I have been scouring the web and photographer sites to learn how to create and this is our first try as amateurs. We are # 123 Sterling’s Lights

Barbara December 20, 2011

Apologies, now all three have appeared! Any way you can delete two for me? Thanks!

Barbara December 20, 2011

I’m not sure my link has worked, I’ve tried three times but the thumbnail isn’t appearing.

Mine is of the Christmas Tree Festival at St Mary’s Church, Hinckley, Leics. I took one in focus and then defocussed the lens to create this one.

Mine is #98 sleeping babe. Newborn sleeping under a Christmas tree. What could be more peaceful? There are so many good pics up this week!

skye December 19, 2011

I posted my bokeh from my Flickr account … hope thats ok – I do have a blog but did not have time to do a bokeh post this week 🙁 So many gorgeous pictures above – I will have fun looking through them all! Happy Holidays!

#63 – We took a walk through the Magical Forest in Las Vegas. The girl is my step-daughter who is visiting us for the holidays and I captured her looking at all of the light displays.

Love this challenge! I took shots of a newborn beauty and added some vintage love to her shot! Can’t wait to see everyone’s photos!

Jenna December 19, 2011

So many beautiful pictures already, I can’t wait to see the rest! What a lovely idea. 🙂

Karin December 19, 2011

What a great challenge. It will be wonderful to see all the Christmas shots from everyone. Nothing like christmas lights to make some lovely bokeh.
