Such a fun challenge this week! So many great entries!! Can’t wait to see the top picks!
Kissing Cousins – We had so much fun at the pumpkin patch. The kids picked out a couple of small ones and carried them around while we were there. It was so cute.
Now #311
To me this pictures is all about the little things that make kids – kids!
My dear friends’ squishy sleeping baby in a hat & blanket made by his great-grandma – so cute
(at time of upload… #346: aunt with gum)

Mine is #335, sweet newborn I had the opportunity to photograph. He was perfect! Sweet and simple.
#324!
Taken at the beach last month, and it’s one of my favorites from the trip. Pure toddler happiness!
My image is way at the bottom, #322 (This Little Blog). It’s not a technically perfect picture, but it’s one of my favorites. It’s my little nephew seeing his baby brother for the first time. I love how happy my brother looks and how curious my nephew is in the photo.

So many great entries! My entry is #314 and is one of our favourite photos. How many adults would stand in a water fountain???

Love this quote and how much light a child brings to our lives!

My photo is #311. This is a picture of my 2 year old son after some chocolate and painting . He is always so much at ease when he is a mess! These are special days. I know they go by so quickly especially with 3 little ones! I was happy to catch this precious face. I heart his happy face. Thanks!
#312 This picture is of my sisters daughter, and I think it shows how a child can just glow of happiness over small things, like cupcakes ! Only “the little ones” are showing that kind of joy!

That is why I love this pic of her because her eyes are so innocent and young and I wish my “Emma Girl” can Be Little forever, but she can’t!
“Flower Girl” is my first submission to your photo challenges. I love taking pictures. My niece recently got married and I took a bunch of pictures. This one of my younger niece is one of my favorites. Thanks for the opportunity.

well these are great pictures!! I wish I could comment on the flicker ones too, but i don’t have an account. I don’t know why i didn’t do this before, or at least check out everyone’s blogs in last contests-its so great to see so many photographers. so fun!!
#237 This was taken at a newborn session with the most beautiful family ever! During the baby pics, I had Mommy lay down with her daughter and she naturally picked up her little hand and kissed it. The moment was so tender and beautiful, it just melted me inside. I was thrilled that the actual composition, color and lighting turned out so well because I would have been devastated to lose that moment for them. It almost makes me ready for another baby! Hee hee. *ALMOST*
Absolutely loved this challenge! My three-year-old is always a good reminder of the importance of being little … at any age.

#255 is sweet little Vivi when she was 13 days old during our newborn session in Fort Worth, Texas. We were sweating to get this little girl asleep that day, but man did she ever sleep once it was warm enough! Out of focus in the foreground are her mother’s gorgeous engagement and wedding rings. We wanted to include them in a way that wasn’t your typical “rings on baby’s toes” photo.

#233 Daddy’s Little Girl. I had the privilege of photographing one of our local Volunteer Firefighters and his family. His little girl was just too adorable with Daddy’s helmet on. I cant help but have a soft spot for this family as we are also a fire family. Amazing sacrifices that the firefighters and their families make. much love and respect to them.

#215 – my sweet baby at the piano. I’m a pianist, my husband is a singer / music minister…our son is doomed to be a musician as well. This was taken a couple days before he turned one!

WOW! These photos are so awesome! My photo is number 212. I had an out of town photo session that ended up being rained out, so we did the session inside instead. He wanted to go outside and play so badly, it made for a quite photo I think!
Love this theme! May be one of my favorites. Look forward to each Monday.

My number at the moment is 56. The photo is my 2 year old (soon to be 3 on Christmas Day) nephew. He just loves it when I take his picture. We had visited the farm on that day and where planning on getting the kids some apple cider donuts. But we were a couple of weeks away from the apple cider donut season so we decided to make a run to Dunkin Donuts. The kids sat in the tall stools by the big open windows and the light was just perfect. My sister had me laughing because she kept telling me to put the camera away. But I just couldn’t help myself. I got some great shots including this one. I hope you like it.
My submission is photo #197 … Sure – we can let them be little, but really, all they want is to be grown up *grin*. Preschool crushes are inevitable …
Don’t you remember who you wanted to marry when you were 4yrs old? *GRIN*

My picture is #192 and #194 (I also would was getting error messages, and hope one of them can be deleted
). This image is of my friend’s son. My own step-son is 6 years old, and while he’s a great model, he’s a little big to fit into a pumpkin. We had a lot of fun taking these pictures, and I’m looking forward to taking holiday-themed pictures as well!

My baby is so done with the paparazzi that I can almost never get a picture that shows her striking eyes. So, even though we had a binky front and center, at least I got the eyes
Awesome entries so far! I have had a massive vacation from your site and am excited to get back in the groove. Thanks for everything you do!

My photo this week is a few years old, and it’s of my boys in the NICU when they were 6 days old. It wasn’t easy to get pictures in the NICU, but I got this one on a sunny day, when their crib was by the window.

I am loving the tininess of all the sweet little *babies*. Makes me wish that mine were still little. Thankfully I have enough friends with little ones to get my *fix*. Which is what my photo captures this week. A precious moment between a dad and his newborn.

Who were your Superheros growing up? I was fortunate to get to photograph a family of Superheros that allowed their boys, ages 5 and 4, to dream and have fun … but the best part? … they knew how to have fun right along with them! I loved it. To explain briefly, their two sons were huge Superhero fans — in particular their oldest who had the look, the stance, and the Superhero attitude all wrapped up in one tiny cute adorable package. In support of their son’s creative side, the whole family came dressed at Superheros!
Oh, my goodness. There is so much cuteness already, it is making me wish mine were still small! Fortunately, I have friends with little ones, and so I chose a photo of my husband’s best friend with his son.

Mine (entry #107) is of my two year old playing in the creek at the end of the summer this year. I love how he’s looking so seriously at what he had found. It just embodies the two year old wonderment that happens when they find something new for the first time.

I had a great outfit for my daughter to wear in a little photo-shoot – but she wasn’t interested in sitting still (surprise!) .
THEN – I brought out the Raisenettes – not only were they a hit – but garnered some great faces! Check this one out! (entry #100)
I am submission #66 {and unfortunately #65, #64 – which I would love to be deleted if possible- was getting a Linky “oops” error message this morning} and this was shot yesterday at the beach while I was watching my daughter feel sand for the first time. We adopted her in August and while she is from a coastal town in China, I assume she’s never seen sand before now! It was a great day for shooting, mild temps and overcast. I love the rawness of the beach and the sea wall behind her.

I’m always amazed at little minds that can think “out of the box”. I’m #28 this week with “Boxed Love”. Can’t wait to see what everyone else does.
Oh — I guess I should also say that my photo is currently #23 “Love his smile!”
My son. He’s such a character! He’s silly and sweet and he rarely sits still, lol. He is my heart
