1st Place: Abby from My Thousand Words
Did you know that this week is National Friendship Week? We love that…especially since I Heart Faces was started because of a blogging friendship!
There’s nothing that warms the heart as much as a friend and this week’s Friendship Entries were a perfect depiction of how we view friendship in our own lives.
This week’s Guest Photographer Judge, Maegan Beishline of Madeline Bea Photography, said of the winning photo by Abby: This image contains so much emotion! I can feel the laughter and support of a friendship that has clearly grown stronger over some sort of shared experience! I love the colors and the way they subjects are all connected. I feel happy every time I look at it! It really depicts some great messages of ‘friendship’ to me! This was an incredibly hard decision! There are so many different facets of friendship which I felt were represented so well by all the entries. The ones I ultimately chose as my favorites were the ones with some extremely genuine element…a look or a motion or an action…something particular that just really brought me right into the emotion and connection of the moment.
