I just love the sweetness that my friend’s son is showing towards this new 4month old puppy. She is a silky white maltipoo with black button eyes. He’s getting a blood transfusion which will counter the anemia for a bit but as he bone marrow is dtysfunctioning he will slip away again in a few days to a few weeks. Ugh!!!!!!!!

Riley stray cat. #508 – Again, when I came back to double check, sure enough – I couldn’t find my entry!! It is a photo of our English Mastiff from this past winter.. He’s an airedale terrier so he still active at age 5 and a half.
My entry, #570 “True Love”, was a candid photo taken a couple weeks ago. Some friends and I got together, and before the day was over the boys had gotten the horses out. This lil’ guy immediately latched onto this beauty as soon as it was out of the trailer. Unfortunately, I was on the wrong side of the fence with the camera, but I managed to get a peek of the genuine love!
While I know you guys don’t change photos once submitted… I wanted to post this as a “if I could change my picture, it would be to this one in honor of an amazing cat”. http://www.flickr.com/photos/violet6533/5851631636/in/set-72157624040655630
We are facing the immanent loss of one of our best pets ever. Scout, my husband’s little 2 yr old PTSD therapy cat, fell ill yesterday and was found to be severely anemic today to only be diagnosed with leukemia this afternoon. He’s getting a blood transfusion which will counter the anemia for a bit but as he bone marrow is dtysfunctioning he will slip away again in a few days to a few weeks. So while my original submission of “Oh Noes” was hillarious, I’d much rather pay tribute to our sick, amazing, pain in the butt, grass eater, bug sniffer, meowing like a maniac, Ft. Riley stray cat.

I’ve already commented, but I just love seeing to many photoblogs! I have saved several to watch and learn to better my photography skills!
My entry is #480, Gizmo. She is my precious persian kitty with a goofy face. When we got her we were told she was a male, and it wasn’t until about 6 months later, that we went to have her neutered that we found out Gizmo was a FEMALE! It was a brain scramble. It took a long time to accept that she was a female!
*in my defense, I assumed the BREEDER knew what she was talking about and she’s so fluffy, that I didn’t think to “check”. Hahaha
My entry is Mousey. We have 2 gray cats that live inside… I choose cats based on how sweet they are, not what they look like. But, Mousey is just beautiful – and sweet too!
And, she is from the humane society…
Ugh!!!!!!!! OK, I dislike being a first timer because I just found out my photo was deleted and when I looked into why… I entered the wrong permalink…
sad day. Oh well. that is what I get for waiting until the last minute!
To next week!
#681 – your photo made me smile and brightened up my busy evening. You have an adorable little friend!
I’m a first timer here so I hope I do this right… I’m not sure if we are supposed to leave 5 comments on this section or when you click on the photo itself… so I’m just going to do it here tonight. #102… I absolutely LOVE your photo. I can only imagine what or who your dog is staring at.
I’m entry #712 my pet’s name is Aspen! She’s a 5 yr old all white pomeranian with her little pink nose! most poms have a black nose, somehow she got gypped in the pigment department!
I took this photo when one day Aspen and I were out on a walk and she seriously just stopped to smell these yellow flowers out by our mailbox. She was so intrigued by them, that I was able to whip out the camera and “capture” the moment if you will. It was sweet.
So far I’m #538! I love the topic this week, and I picked a photo of a rescue that I had the pleasure of meeting recently. I fell in love with Boone as soon as I saw him.
My entry is Elsie Mau. She is our first fur baby. She will be 14 in October. We rescued her from the pound. When we went to pick a pet she stood up like a prairie dag & watched us. We have always said she picked us!! Animals just know. =D

My entry (if it shows up haha), is a little lab pup named Xyris. As you can see he is playful and mischevious.
I’m #675 and this is my youngest daughter giving a big *smooch* to our friend’s dog Riley when he was just a puppy ~
Henry is #682. He is a springer spaniel and came to live with us when he was just over a year old. He is now 10! Can’t imagine our family without him.

My entry is #668, Puddles. She was one of my many foster dogs that I really wish I would have adopted myself. She was 6 and the victim of a divorce and eventual foreclosure of a home. I promised her owner I would find her the best home…and I did. Still, I wish it would have been mine.
I just added my photo 668 Puppy Love. I just love the sweetness that my friend’s son is showing towards this new 4month old puppy. He was smitten by this puppy and couldn’t be happier just holding him…
My entry is #665, beautiful Abbygale! She is a silky white maltipoo with black button eyes.

Links are deleted for only 3 reasons each week:
1) They are inappropriate (ie. spam, porn, etc.)
2) They link to Facebook
3) They do not use a permalink (this is the most common reason why a link is deleted.)
If you aren’t sure of how to find a permalink, you can read this tutorial: http://www.iheartfaces.com/2007/01/photo-contest-entry-example/

http://www.trishalynnphotography.co/2/post/2011/08/post-title-click-and-type-to-edit6.html this was our Kitty. Sadly, she died shortly after I took this shot. Thank you for the lovely comments some of you left on our blog. It is nice to know people care.
Good Luck everyone!
This is my baby boy Rocky when he was about 10 wks old and very active. He’s an airedale terrier so he still active at age 5 and a half. But this is quite possibly the cutest expression on his face EVER! #663
Thanks, Kristy! I just got it figured out
Ok, so I think I got it figured out – finally. Hopefully, I won’t be disqualified for having too many entries…
Thanks! There are LOTS of GREAT, FUN, CUTE photos out there!
I’m #658 now – Puppy Love!
Hello Carmen,
I just clicked on the picture of Vader – too cute! The only thing I can see that may be an issue is that you linked to the home page of your blog and not to the blog entry with the picture on by itself. Does that make sense?
So, your link to needs to be: http://clixphotography-carmen.blogspot.com/2011/08/i-love-this-pooch.html
and not just your blog home page. If there is more than one photo on the page, or it’s not linked correctly to the blog post, it’s not accepted.
Hope that helps
Good luck!
Hello
After reading the comments section, it seems I wasn’t the only one having trouble seeing my entry this afternoon, and ending up accidently entering more than once
Apologies to the admin for taking up your time having to delete my accidental multiples *blush*
I can see my entry now though – along with all the other awesome pet pictures!
This week, I chose to enter a picture which particularly warms my heart as both a Mum and a Photographer.
You can read about it here:

Thank you and Good Luck ~ <3
Sorry to take up all the comment space. I was wondering if maybe I’m getting disqualified for some reason… hmmm…
BTW – my photo is number #653 “Puppy Love” It’s a photo of my 18 year old daughter’s new puppy she named “Vader” as in Darth. He’s a lab/shepherd/blue heeler mix. He’s such a good puppy – well behaved and good temperment. A good buddy for all of my little boys – They love him, and he loves them right back! <3
Ok, so I’m loving all the entries! I’m new to iheartfaces, and last week I tried to enter, but it was too close to the deadline, so I missed it. This week, I entered yesterday. I was number one hundred something, but when I came back to check on all the entries, I couldn’t find mine – SO, I entered again! #508 – Again, when I came back to double check, sure enough – I couldn’t find my entry!! I’ve just entered again and I’m number 653. Hopefully, it stays put this time. If not, would someone please help me and tell me what I’m doing wrong!! THANKS! -Carmen.
oops! entered #643 with my blog address. re~entered with a permalink#645

Mine is around #214, “Heather.” This is my friend’s dog who happens to have the same name as a very good human friend. Cracked me up every time I called out to doggy Heather, asked her if she needed to potty, etc… And check out this Heather’s over-bite or underbite…so cute!

3 kittens in my yard…too cute!
I submitted “Pink and Blue” which I took during the first year of owning my DSLR. It’s of my two dogs, a golden and a pit mix. Love this theme!!
Luv the pics of all the pets, The photos I send of My Fur Ball Charlie is my favorite of him: hes one of the most docile dog, and sweet as sweet can be.

This theme brought a smile to my face, cuz a strangers’s pet came to my rescue as I was going crazy trying to meet my deadline for my very first opportunity to shoot for a boutique. I rented a Nikon d700, since my Canon was stolen and was curious to try out Nikon, boy I went nuts trying to figure out this Camera, and was driving my patient model crazy and this sweet puppy came along to help us with us out and eased my anxiety! hugs to this sweet dog and its owner, hope to meet ya again at ‘da park!
