A very nice photo contest what is the last date for taking part in it. Different person shares very nice creative photos.
Thank you for doing this! This was my first time entering one of your challenges. I love the color yellow. When I think of yellow, I think of sunshine, children, and summer. So that’s what I tried to capture in my submission. I loved going through all of the other images. So inspiring.
mines #412. yellow is my favorite color and its making me so happy to go through all these beautiful, fun, colorful yellow pics! mine is a very handsome young man from my church. all these kids graduating and showing such success. holding a bible and looking like a triumphant spiritual leader. i know he will treasure this moment and have something really great to look back on.
Yellow is such a fun color to capture. My daughter and her friend wouldn’t let a “little” wind get in their way of eating such a tasty treat! So funny to see how children act when they have candy…..it’s them and nobody else
Oh No!!! I hit enter on the Linky to post my photo and it didn’t load and when I returned to start over it was closed
Boo Hoo …. Ok I hope its ok to post it here. I guess I waited too long.

This is my first entry ever. I am very nervous but love the photo I entitled JOY of my daughter in the buttercups…please check it out.
Great Challenge… as soon as I saw it was yellow my picture came to mind! I’ve played along a few times and always enjoy seeing what others post as well. Although you get so many entries it’s hard to visit everyone’s blog!

This is my first I Heart Faces entry! My entry is of a friend waiting on baby’s arrival! I just love the yellow from the sunset and the way it matches her yellow dress.
My photo is a picture I took of my daughter at our state capitol. It is appropriately titled ” Flower for mom ” because she picked that flower just for me
Hopefully everyone can somewhat see it. I don’t have a blog yet so I had to link it to my Facebook page.
First time participating- love these challenges.
Yay, yellow – one of my favorite happy colors! I’m excited for the results!

My picture is of my daughter in her sunflower dress sitting in my front yard. She kept sticking her tounge out and I couldn’t resist showing everyone what a doll she is! My two kidsand husband are my inspiration and I couldn’t feel more blessed for them! I love my job so much!

This is a slice of the colorful windy kindie scene in Chicago, where kids’ alternative music is 2nd to none.

My entry is my son holding a yellow wild flower. Both of my kids love to pick the flowers so much so it seemed appropriate for this.
This is my second time to enter and I’m really enjoying the contest. Thanks for hosting! Here is my entry for the week – http://carriesaindon.blogspot.com/2011/05/yellow-i-heart-faces-challenge.html

my contest entry.
love this challenge. my entry is of my little sister, she and i were playing outside this morning.
This is my first time entering this contest. I have wanted to a thousand times and chickened out. So here it goes.
My neighbor starting working this year and couldn’t take her children out to the bus stop in the morning and asked me if I would go and take pictures of their first day of school pictures. When I emailed her this picture of the bus driver’s face looking at her kindergartener and son, she was reassured they were in safe hands.
This is my first I Heart Faces entry! I’m loving all the yellow! My entry is of my little boy in his rain jacket. We were tossing pennies into the fountain at the mall, one of his all time favorite things to do.
I was really worried I wouldn’t be able to find a good “yellow” subject to shoot this week. Good thing we drove by a huge field of yellow wildflowers while visiting family out of town. Photo # 23 (number could change) is my Partner in the field, being such a good sport, getting dirty in the blazing sun! LOL

i love the category this week and it was really hard not to pick a yellow flower field photo – since i have a bunch of those! i knew a lot of people would go with that and i wanted mine to be different. the young lady in this picture is someone special to my heart. a local friend who asked me to take some pictures of her and her friends before prom. her mom wasn’t there, so i was kind of the stand-in mom for the pre-event. anyway, i love her and when i saw this photo – this was the immediate verse that came to mind, because she’s not only beautiful on the outside where man looks, but so much more importantly – she’s beautiful on the inside where God looks.
FUN! Its kinda like encouraging the sun to come out! Love this challenge!
#154- http://violetrayphotography.blogspot.com/2011/05/i-heart-faces-yellow.html
I struggled with this one- mainly because I had several “yellow” shots that I couldn’t pick between. I loved them all for vastly different reasons. I settled on this one of my daughter- trying to blow bubbles while we squeezed in some play time right before this huge thundercloud came overhead & dumped on us. Then I took some other fun shots last night & almost edited the post again with one of those. In the end I kept coming back to this one- she’s just glowing.

#146 – Yellow Wall – a shot I did with my nephew. We had fun morning playing around with all different colored walls. Love love colored walls.
There are some really amazing ‘yellow’ shots here. Great work everyone!
I am enjoying all the yellow! My daughter is standing with yellow flowers and her parasol.
The yellow in my photo this week was made from a “daisy” chain made when my daughter and I were out for one of our nightly walks down by the river. I LOVE the colors of spring.
The yellow in my photo was the yellow smiley face on my daughter’s onesie, which pretty much matched the big grin on her own chubby face!

We just read a few comments asking about the winners for the Flower Challenge from last week. Just a reminder that since we were out of town teaching at the I Heart Faces Photography Workshop in San Antonio, last week’s challenge was a non-competition one and we encouraged everyone to enter just for fun. Since we are back home now, this week’s challenge will have a judge and winning photos.
Thanks,

Goodness, love the photo on this post – what a sweet “yellow” moment. Love the processing!
Lu,
Last week’s challenge was a non-competition week.

Yellow was fun! It isn’t a color I seem to find often in my world. I was lucky to hit upon what I did so easily!

I had fun with this one, as my daughter just got a new yellow dress and I’m trying to learn some things with photoshop and the camera. #72 right now (Ellie Claire) but it’s this one: http://little-miss-stubborn.blogspot.com/2011/05/i-heart-faces-yellow.html
This is my first time participating on one of your challenges and probably not the last

And winners of the flower challenge?
I love color challenges…it’s always so fun to see how it gets interpreted. My shot is of my big girl in her bathing suit…the yellow rosette is what made me choose it originally and then I realized there was yellow in the background and her hair picks up the yellow tones. Hope you all like it!

This is my first time entering the contest. I’m excited, and I shot this image just for it…well that and to get 7-month images of my baby girl. Hope you all like it, and I can’t wait to see how everyone else interpreted yellow.
Did I miss the post with the winners of the flower challenge?
