I love this theme! can’t wait to see all the beautiful entries. My entry is one from my recent newborn shoot. My good friend just gave birth to her 5th baby. She has 4 boy and now has her little girl!! Wearing pink every day of her pregnancy must have worked!!!

God bless all the mommies out there!!!
First time entry (titled, Team Mom) here! My wife and I work as a photography team sometimes (although most of the photos on my blog are shot and processed by me). She shot this one – which captures how lost in love with my daughter I am – and I processed it, so I thought it was doubly appropriate for this week’s theme!
Very excited to be a part of this community. Some very touching photos, this week!

My entry this week is about how my second child helped me to discover the fun in motherhood.

Had to send in this photo(385). End of a happy evening with my 2 daughters and granddaughter. All this mother could ask for.

I had the opportunity to shoot my sister-in-law’s birth last weekend. It was such an incredible, special experience! I totally want to do this full time now! I love babies, I love mothers with their babies. There is nothing more beautiful or tender. Currently #382.

Hi! My entry is #370. My spin on “motherhood”
I posted “Newborn Laughs” (which is #374 right now, but of course that could change). This was one of the most fun newborn shoots I’ve ever done…looking at the picture that I entered, you might not realize that the baby is only five days old.
Oops my number already changed…you can find mine titled with my name lol.
Hi Everyone! My photo is #368…I’m not a mother yet but every time I capture moments like this I sure look forward to the experience! Everyone’s entries are beautiful! <3
Please remove entry number 359. Made a few mistakes. Thank you for honoring moms:)
My photo “In the Moment” was entered because it’s one of my favorites. I took this picture the day before her husband left for Korea. He will be gone for 6 months and will miss the birth of their baby. You can just see the emotion in these two!
When I herd about this theme I immediately thought of this photo! My sister came into my life when I was five, my mother re married to a man who had three Philippino children, my mom had two Japanese children and then me, the white girl. All growing up my mother got silly questions in grocery lines ETC, like: oh, how great of you to adopt, Oh are they yours, your daughter sure has a lot of friends. My parents taught us that we were not stepchildren, step or half brother and sisters, but that we WERE brothers and sister, end of story! This photo is on my sisters wedding day, she had just danced the daddy daughter dance and came over to give my mom a hug. This photo captures so much emotion coming from the two of them, lol if only there was a photo of me too! Happy mothers day mom!
Messy Momhood is my entry. It was a photoshoot I did of a 5 month old. The mom was so cool! She let me get him all nice and messy for this pic, and it came out great!!

Here is mine photo… hope you enjoy!!!
Golly this is exciting! I’ve been following these comps for a few months but this is the first time i’ve entered! Wow so many beautiful entries, mines very amateurish in comparison, but i just LOVE LOVE LOVE being a mum to 2 gorgeous babies so i had to submit one! Good luck everyone!
I’m #287! So many incredible images! I have four boys & I love to see how the mother/son relationship changes over time! One of my favorite sayings…”It doesn’t matter how tall you are…you’ll always be my baby!” It just so happens, you’re now my friend too!
I love being called a triplet. One of three….my grandma, my mom & me. Coincidentally I happen to have had twins but I love that we can all be close together and share everyday. Nothing sweeter. Hope everyone had a special day…special year!

Number 168 (the number will prolly change soon, but it’s called Coffee) is my favorite entry so far! LOVE it! Motherhood definitely equals coffee! I couldn’t leave a comment on her blog, but wanted her to know her entry rocks!
oh and i’m number 251.
i am not a mommy, but hopefully one day i will be
i really enjoyed entering this challenge, the photo i entered is a photo i took of my friend morgan with her son.
she is such an amazing mom & i enjoy watching her with her son.
i have so much respect for mommy’s. they sure do have the hardest job out there.
I hope all the Mom’s had a wonderful Mother’s Day yesterday!! This week’s theme reminds me that everyone is somebody’s baby. The love of a family grows with every generation. My entry makes me smile everytime I look at it! I wish my family was as close as the one I posted.

My entry is #13. A picture of my mom and little sister while laughing about something I didn’t know about! This is classic for those two. (:

For some reason, the picture wouldn’t upload, so I stuck with the IHF image, but if you click on the link, it’ll show you the real picture. I had trouble deciding, so I went w/ an old favorite of my mom & sis. I love it!

I picked a photo of my grandma and my daughter enjoying a moment of laughter together. My grandma became a mother nearly 54 years ago. She’s a mother of three,
grandmother of seven, and is now great grandmother to one, with another due in August.
Motherhood is a journey that, once begun, truly never ends.
I couldn’t resist posting my latest Momma/baby foal image. It’s perfect for the theme but not so perfect that it’s of animals instead of humans.

My entry this week is a moment I captured of my youngest daughter & myself during school time. I love it when we can share a little snuggle time in the midst of the crazy schedule. I am so happy I captured it – so I never forget these precious times.
This picture captures a quote I came across a few years ago by Washington Irving…”There is an enduring tenderness in the love of a mother to a son that transcends all other affections of the heart.”
Jenna’s entry…Mom 2 4 boys
I was so busy enjoying a day of relaxation yesterday that I forgot to post my Motherhood picture.
Hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day!

I went with a picture of my mom and one of my sons. The moment totally spoke to me about how motherhood doesn’t end when your children are grown and leave the house.

I am so grtaeful for my precious daughter, Annie Pliego (#13) who captured such a beautiful moment between me and her sister. Being the mom of these wonderful girls is a joy that fills my days. A gift from Above indeed!

There are so many wonderful entries already… cannot wait to see the rest of them!
This will be a very hard challenge for the judges!
my entry is of a mom holding her child but the focus is on the child- just like life is for us moms.

A lovely theme. I am sure this will spark some creativity and result in some gorgeous pictures!

And baby holding plus typing don’t mix. That’s on Mother’s day and LET my mom pick out the photo. Sorry.
I doubled up – I used a photo of my own mom holding my 9 week old daugheter on
mother’s Day, and I ley my mom pick it out. My daughter is giving my mom a hilarious look, but my favorite thing about the photo is that I followed the “blurry background with kit lens” instructions! There’s a blurry pink plastic flamingo in the background with sentimental value.

I added my favorite picture of my son and I together. #74 It is amazing how much love you can have for one person. Thanks for letting me share.

Mine is of my sister-in-law at their family shoot last summer when she was 37 weeks pregnant with their second daughter (entry 67). She is an amazing mother and an inspiration. We were pregnant together (me with my first) and our daughters are 3 and a half weeks apart in age.
Just entered for the 2nd time. Although my picture is so amateur
this time I linked the correct thumbnail pic.

My entry this week if from a client’s newborn session. And I can’t get over how cute the babies face looks! Check it out. And I am in love with so many of this weeks entries already. This is such a beautiful challenge
I was trying to be a bit creative this week…most of my entries are kind of straightforward.
My kids are in the pic, in the bokeh…I hope that counts as a face.
When I entered, I was #19, Love. I am enjoying the Motherhood pictures!
A friend of mine recently became a mother. She entered motherhood young, at only 18, but her mother’s heart is large and strong. She loves her baby so much, and their young little family is off to a beautiful start. I had the privilage of capturing some of the precious moments of the beginning of their family. There are also some adorable photos of the baby on the blog.
