I couldn’t get the linky list to work earlier today and now it’s closed – sigh. Can I leave my link here, even if it’s not entered into the challenge? I’d love to get even a few visits.

Someone entered a photo of my daughter (469) and linked it to my blog. I have no idea who did this so I would appreciate it if you could remove the entry. Thanks!
Oops… the linky list wasn’t working so I submitted it twice…only now do they both show up. Fancy that They are number 509 and 510…the last two. I tried using different thumbnails for both, as you can see. Anyway, sorry about that. :-/
The linky tool WON’T WORK FOR ME!!! I wanted to enter, but it’s not working!! Gah.
What a fun theme this week! My entry has more of the manmade wind (ie kid on bungy jumpy thing) but hope it fits

love the challenge, am still having difficulty figuring how it all works but I won’t give up trying!
I can see mine now, 482, but then again, I saw it before and then it disappeared again. Let’s hope it stays put this time.

thank you

I’m having the same problem. I’ve added my photo twice and keep getting the file size error, even though my file is under the limit

Love the theme! This is my first entry ever! http://redsparrowblog.blogspot.com/2011/04/i-heart-faces-challenge-wind.html
I couldn’t get out during the “good wind,” but I did get my daughter’s hesitant reaction to laying on a blanket in the breeze! After she goes to sleep, I can’t wait to go through the other entries!

LOVE this week’s challenge! Everyone’s captures are fantastic! My entry is #419!
*claps hands* I’m so excited that I get to share this image with everyone! This is from a session that took place in Couer D’ Alene, ID on the lakes beach-line. The wind was whipping us around like crazy that day, but it totally worked to our advantage! <3's

I am so excited to be finally in the game rather than an armchair observer of I HEART FACES. How fun! My older daughter is almost always too shy for a picture but she allowed this one I think because she loves baby sis so much and wanted to get a pic with her. Pretty windy day and a picnic at a park.

I’m another first-time participant and like some of the others who have posted here, I too inadvertently entered my photo twice (#325 and again at #328)… so sorry about my newbie error! hope it’s not too much of an inconvenience!
#169 duh wrote 179 lol. This was a windy beach day with the family on a camping day last May long weekend! What fun!
I can’t upload. Linky is telling me that my file is too big. I reduced my file size to under the limit and tried uploading it, but it’s still not working. Anyone else having this problem?
My photo’s (#371) was taken during my first Senior Session! It was a gorgeous windy day and we had so much fun. I loved how the wind was working well with her hair for the photos. I have commented on some entries but I am still going! There are some GREAT entries this week!

This was a fun challenge especially since it was so crazy windy this weekend. It gave us the perfect opportunity to capture an image for this weeks theme.

This is my first time to post anything to the Photography Challenge. Another IHP member saw my post and let me know that I had linked it incorrectly. I don’t know how to delete my first post (#350), but I did repost the photo with the correct link (#387). Can you please delete #350 (Daddy’s Wind)? Thanks!

#380 is just a quick snapshot of my daughter yesterday at the park. She wanted to make a wish on a “wishing flower” but before she could, the wind came through and puffed out her dress. Not my best work, but it brings a smile to my face when I look at it.

Mine’s #212… I had such a hard time deciding on which photo to enter this week. There was another one from the same evening that this was taken, but it’s in front of an old school house. The wind had just gusted SO hard and her little dress whipped up around her. Really fun picture but it was a little motion blurred so I ended up choosing this one. What a great week!
yay I’m on time this week

With everything going on around the country, the timing for this theme is perfect! Its crazy windy in upstate NY right now!

This senior is truly a free-spirit…and on a hot day in Florida it’s almost as though the wind blew through just for her…
Wow, I had trouble getting my thumbnail sized properly and I inadvertently entered several times. Sorry :/, just meant to get one in. Its my sister on top of a mountain near our home where wild horses graze.
I love this weeks theme, I am give the chance to show the love of my parents, especially that of my Dad for my Mom …entry #124
#133! I snapped this picture of my friend when she was walking back across a field on a freezing cold, “nearly-spring-yet-still-winter” day.
Great theme!
I am unhappy that I had trouble with the linky . The first time I posted it kept going back to the thumbnail page. Finally I just looked to see if my post was there. It was not. I tried again. The first time, it said that the thumbnail was still to big so I resized and did it again. Thus I got a double post of the first thumbnail I tried. Oh well….
Lots of great photos! Thanks for offering such a fun theme!
What a beautiful photo- those eyes are amazing!

I just commented on my 5 favorites on their blogs. Stunning work! Such an inspiration to someone like me just starting out. Now, I will go see if I have a wind photo or maybe I just may take a wind photo today, it is pretty windy here!
Oh, perfect day for this challenge!! We’re heading to our local arboretum today and it’s partly cloudy with a nice breeze. Here’s hoping I get a good shot for the challenge!!

I took this photo the day I got my Nikon in the mail. I had never used a DSLR camera, but I was thrilled to start using it. I took this snapshot of my two oldest loving on one another outside. A rare moment of sisterly love, it melts my heart when I see it <3

We describe our photo themes in depth at this link: http://www.iheartfaces.com/2007/11/i-heart-faces-photo-challenge-themes/
We definitely mean the movement that wind (natural, blowing wind) can convey in a photo.

Okay, is this “wind” – as in “where the wind comes sweeping down the plains” or “wind” – as in “today I will wind the grandfather clock”? If you don’t clarify, I can’t wait to see how it is interpreted by the entrants.
