Due to the holiday, this week’s photo challenge will be open for entries from now until Tuesday evening at 9:00 pm (CST). To be considered as a winner of this week’s challenge, you can only have ONE photo in your entry. Please make sure that you add our button to your blog post as well so that you’ll be eligible to win!

First time entering in the photo challenge. If I don’t see my pic on here, does that mean it is removed? I submitted a pic of a boxer w/ the title – Pretty Girl!
There are so many good entries! I love seeing all those smiling furry (or scaley or feathered) faces.
This is my first time entering one of the photo contests here. My entry “Puppy Dog Eyes” (#488) is of an adorable pup named miss Jolie. I work in the pet care field (I am a dog walker & pet sitter), and Jolie is one of the many dogs I’ve been a caretaker for. She is a total sweetheart with some VERY expressive eyes that I just had to try and capture with a photo.

Ack! I misunderstood the rules at first so I need you to delete my first entry, currently #680 entitled “Calico Kitty,” and replace it with my second entry, currently #686 also entitled “Calico Kitty.” After I submitted the first time, I saw where the rules said, “only ONE photo in your entry,” so I created a new post specifically for my entry and resubmitted.
Hope this is okay. Sorry for the confusion!

I am entry #714 and this is my four legger, Murphy. My daughter calls her the four legger or more commonly, her sister. Murphy is a treasured well loved member of our family. She has lived in Germany and traveled all over Europe! She is almost 13 now and we just love to be with her!

This is one of the last photos I took using my point and shoot camera before I got my new DSLR. I am a rank amateur, but I was especially proud of this effort, considering limited equipment – but Callie was wonderfully cooperative. Callie is Shetland Sheepdog, the beloved pet of two of my friends.
This is our cutie Brinkley who humored us for a minute and wore a hat in this year’s snow!
#388 – This is a picture of our Shih Tzu Max. We adopted him 5 years ago when he was 1 1/2. We are so lucky to have found him. He is the easiest and sweetest dog ever! He’s not supposed to be on our leather couches but the other day when I caught him he appeared too tired to care that he was busted so he just sighed and looked at me. I had to capture it with a picture!
