Welcome to this week’s photo challenge where all skill levels of photographers are able to join in the fun!
Our photo challenges are open for entries until Tues (9:00 pm CST). To be considered as a winner of this week’s challenge, you can only have ONE photo in your entry. Please make sure that you add our button to your blog post as well so that you’ll be eligible to win!
- This week’s theme is “Cell Phone.” You can read more details here but the photo you enter has to have been taken with a cell phone!
- If you are newer to our site, please read our FAQ’s.
- Please remember that a human face needs to be in your photo entry somewhere.
- If your entry has been deleted, it is because you entered your link incorrectly. Please go ahead and reenter it correctly using a permalink to your post.

“Phone” Photo Entries:
If you enter our photo challenge this week, we ask that you leave comments for at least five entries around yours. Our participants love this!
Please also read the copyright and guideline info in our sidebar before entering.
We love the camera on our cell phones because it is quick, convenient and always with us! Do you use your phone’s camera all the time? Tell us about your experiences in the comments section below.

I am in love with a lot of these entries! This theme was super fun! I have spent hours discovering new blogs on here!

I posted my pic here and now I can’t see it… Any idea why that is?
I can’t imagine not having my iphone camera! I love it and it really serves a great purpose for a mommy on the go! The apps available are so much fun, too!
ooops – flying fingers trying to submit my pic before the link closed and I somehow managed to enter it three times? My apologies – delete the last two – not even sure how I managed to do that – it was telling me I tried to post a file that was to big – but it wasn’t even 1mb, just color me confused – but lovin’ the cell phone pics
Thanks for the reply Angie and Amy – I hope I did it correctly, #421 Sunday Morning. I’m really enjoying your blog. Just picked up the camera again after years of focusing on everything else but. Thanks for the motivation.
Cheers,
Heather
I use my cell phone a lot to take pictures. I like the immediate gratification for Facebook when I’m having some fun. My current phone is a Droid and it takes OK pictures. I don’t have an editing tool on my phone because I wasn’t happy with Photoshop for Droid. It wouldn’t let me easily upload to FB. I am having memory issues but when I get that resolved, I’m going to check into the Droid apps you posted earlier. Thanks!
This is a fantastic challenge. It gave me an opportunity to share an image that is a favorite of mine – even though it’s just a cell phone pic – looking at this image is helping me get through a particularly bad week… and I like that I can share it with all of you.

Thanks Drew and Becky for helping figure out my cell phone camera in time to participate!
Eeek! …I ended up inadvertently submitting mine 4 times; Linky Tools kept glitching and telling me that my thumbnail was too large each time, and would then send me back to “start over”. *frowns* My sincerest apologies. (Hopefully this won’t disqualify my entry.?)

This challenge makes me want an iPhone. The camera on my T-Mobile Dash really stinks! LOL. All the pictures look cloudy or something. Oh whatevs, I entered, and I had fun anyway!

What a great challenge!
I am a camera phone addict! I have it with me at all times and it’s just too easy capturing the little moments in life with it. I think some of my funniest and favorite images of our family are on it – easily would have been missed if it wasn’t for my iphone.
Since I’m not a professional photographer and most of the photography I do is more to document my life and the important people and events in it, I love the flexibility of always having a small camera always with my in my pocket. For me photography is just as much about the moment as the art and I can’t always be lugging a huge camera & lens around. Camera phones catch a lot of shots that I wouldn’t otherwise have.

LOVE this challenge idea!! Sometimes I feel as if the photos on our phones are forgotten quickly after we take them and post on Facebook, etc. This was a reminder about how good some of the photos actually are and got them on my computer!
I absolutely adore this challenge and hope you will repeat it. I have so many pictures on my phone, but always feel like they are inferior to the ones I take with my fancy camera. Looking back to find an entry, it was hard to decide! I just went with the most recent favorite. Thanks girls!
I loved this challenge, because I use my iPhone for everything. Today I snapped a pic of my insurance card to send to the pharmacy. It’s just so easy and convenient. As for a shameless plug, the iPhone4 is awesome and you can’t beat the apps to enhance the shot.
(My entry for this contest was raw though, no editing, I didn’t know it was allowed, but even though I know now, I still think I would have left it alone…)
Good luck to everyone! Some great cell phone photos on here!
I love using my Droid for pictures! Thanks for posting this challenge.
I LOVE this challenge! I recently created a group on the Community page for Cell Phone Photography (at first it was just iPhone Photography but I dont want to be biased
), because I LOVE using my phone to take pictures and use different apps to edit and share them! This is so fun! There are no limits in this challenge! Great challenge!
love my photos for quick snapshots of the kids + using the iphone app.
i love, love, LOVE taking photos with my iPhone. it’s probably a 60/40 split between my DSLR and the iPhone. it’s always on me, the ease of sharing is fabulous, the apps are beyond fun, and i enjoy the challenge of getting really good shots out of phone with a camera (though i tend to think of it more along the lines of my camera has a phone).
The camera phone has really allowed me to catch those “Oh, I wish I had a camera” moments because my phone is almost always with me!! I LOVE the funny, crazy pics that we are getting, such a different perspective than when I get pics from other cameras.
as a new Verizon iPhone owner I could not be more THRILLED … I just noticed that I have over 350 photos currently in my phone, that’s from one week! Yea, I am seriously addicted to this phone and the camera! I can’t wait to see everyone’s submissions!
Great idea about linking to twitpic, yfrog etc…!! I’ll have to update my post with that info keli!

I LOVE my phone camera! I am actually on vacation right now in Kauai and am yet to bring out my Nikon
I love how handy my phone is and the iPhone 4 has some amazing photo apps to play with! I’m recently in love Shake It Photo because of a post here last week so thanks!

Hi Heather,
We provide 3 options for entries. You can read all about them here: http://www.iheartfaces.com/how-it-works/
Best wishes,
-Angie & Amy
co-founders of I Heart Faces
Is there a way to still enter if we don’t have a blog to post your button on? Sorry, I’m new at this!
I know what you mean Robin…narrowing down the photo is always the hardest part for me too. Way too many choices usually!! Hee!

Ooops! I thought that comment would nest under yours, Angie. Oh well!
My pic is sadly faded in thumbnail, but I chose it b/c of the cool reflection
. It’s interesting how different a shot can look smaller than the size of a postage stamp compared to full size; I always enjoy seeing those differences!

I love it, too, Angie. My problem? ALWAYS figuring out what to post!

I had several that I took using fun apps, but I ended up going with a Straight-out-of-the-phone shot that I really love of my dad pushing my son on the swing under the Oregon clouds.
I did the same thing!
i LOVE this challenge and cannot stop cruising the images. To me this is what photography is all about…framing our world because we think it’s important enough to remember.
LOOOOVVVVEEEEE.
I am completely loving this challenge! It’s awesome to see people being creative with the phone they have on hand almost all the time. Great entries and inspiration!

Interesting challenge. I just discovered your site last week and was looking forward to joining in the challenge but, alas, my phone doesn’t take photos. I guess those of us stuck in the stone ages when it comes to technology will have to wait until next week’s theme.

Yea, something for my skill level.

Just discovered your site and was hoping to participate but my phone does not have a camera! Oh well! I’ll try to check back next week.
My cell phone is practically an artifact! But it was fun to try to work within a serious lack of megapixel power!
My son fell asleep on the couch and just looked so sweet I thought it was kismet that I came across this week’s challenge then!

Yay! So thrilled for a challenge I can actually participate in. One of the things on my list of things to do in 2011 was a iheartfaces challenge, so happy to cross another courageous act off my list.

I rarely get my camphone out for photos but it’s the easiest within reach when capturing the most fleeting of everyday moments.
This one is a favorite. It’s exactly how I imagined his eyes would look like staring into mine.
I fall in love with this little sweetheart more and more every single day.

What a fun challenge!!!
(accidentally added mine twice. Whoops! Forgive me
)
I love my iPhone camera. I love it even more now that I have several Apps (most free, and my favorite is Instagram) where I can take pictures and edit them in cool funky ways. I also love it because my son will say, “Cheese!” whenever I pull out my phone. When I have my DSLR he runs the other direction.
