It’s Fix-It Friday, a weekly event where our contributors edit the same photo and our participants can join the fun by editing that same photo their own way and linking into the party!
This week’s image was captured by Angie Arthur last summer during a commercial session she was shooting for a company that makes beautiful hair clips. This photo was one in a series and some of the other shots were better technically (ie. had both eyes in focus!) but this one ended up being Angie’s favorite because of the expression on her daughter’s face. :)

I know what you mean… I am self taught and using PSE9, I feel small next to those that have 5D’s and use LR3!
She’s such a gorgeous little girl Angie!
I had fun with this one, I felt it had a vintagey feel to it and tried to emphasize that with my second and third edits.

I am loving these challenges and adore the edits shown here! Truly inspiring! Because I don’t use the “big time” editing programs, it’s fun to get inspired by editing and take that inspiration into my own program.

I really love Andrea Riley’s way. the crop is really nice and the treatment realy put the eyes in the spot. This is a very nice portrait to start with anyway!
I agree. Very useful information which I hope to put to good use soon. Thanx!
