My post is #810, which was taken in a fleeting moment while my son quickly glanced into a nature exhibit at the Cape Cod Natural History Museum.
This week’s theme showcases so many photos with such wonderful interactions amongst children and their world. The spirit of inquiry is so prominent in 783, 786, 800, 806, and 807 – just to name a few. I love how well the theme lends itself to images of children doing what they do best – encountering new worlds of wonder.
#801 —- check it out and let me know what you think. Thanks!!
I am #788 now and not #760. My original post is not going to my Blog for some reason…I have no idea why!!
I used a picture of my very innocent 5 day old baby and her not-so-innocent 3 year old triplet brothers. They are in absolute awe of her!

My entry is #782–my first photo challenge ever. Just discovered your site about two hours ago. Figured I had to enter before I lost my nerve!
The image is of my lil’ girl, eating the first fruits of the season. Teeny, tiny strawberries that were as tart as they were delicious. Her expression, so pensive and amused, was what struck me as being simply WONDERful. Thanks!
It’s been freezing, and snowing, and all sorts of crazy here lately. This is my 4 year old, dreaming of the beach. #765. This is my first entry, and only my second blog post on my new blog! I was feeling daring today

I was downloading pictures from my camera and found the “pondering” shot. I absolutely love it. One of my daughters took it … and I love the innocence of it all. The way his face is reflected on the table, the way his eyes are so deep. I think it is beautiful. I posted it on my blog today not even knowing there was a contest or this website. Thank you Kelle Hampton for letting me know!
I’m so excited! I just found out about this site today via Kelle Hampton’s blog, so I decided to enter this week’s contest! Mine is entry #764 of my son Max (almost 15 months). There are SO many beautiful entries! I love them! In my photo, Max is playing with a red ribbon from the very first present he opened on Christmas in December. He’s held onto it ever since and nothing makes him happier.

#760 is my girl. After a LONG battle trying to conceive we finally got our boy on St. Patrick’s Day. I felt lucky, but a bit greedy because deep down I was incomplete; I always wanted a girl. Then a little miraculous surprise came on MLK Day of 2010, I was pregnant without even trying! Zara was born on 9-10-10. She has been the most beautiful, happy, joyful, sweet little baby I have ever known! They have made a mama out of me and I am quite certain that am the happiest woman alive.
My photo is # 751 and I took this photo with a friend’s camera while we were in the backyard playing.
My photo is #473. My son is a very happy child, always finding joy in simple things (like making shadow puppets)! What a wonderful collection of photos this week!!!
mine is #740. I love seeing all of the great photos!
My entry is 720 – starfish wonder. I messed up a bit, it’s the 4th picture down! But it’s obvious which one as it has a starfish in it – plus my son Max :O)
There are some gorgeous kiddies in these pics and some very talented parents!
Hugs,
B x
Great theme! I love little kids… they are so sweet, so innocent. The looks on a child’s face when he discovers something new is amazing.

My step-daughter Bridget is fascinated by her new marbles (stones). It’s such a wonder to watch how she carries them, and cares for them. Brings back fond memories of childhood when I would play the same way with M&M’s and pennies.
These were taken last night.
Soooo much better than a video game.

My entry (#32) is of my sweet Harper (my first grandbaby!) who has inspired me to continue to improve my amateur photography skills since she was born last summer. I think that the look on her face really is a look of innocent wonder!
My entry for Innocent Wonder, our hearts are like a jar holding so much love, hope, dreams, wishes, and WONDER!
Such beautiful photos this week. Mine is #708. I caught it while my son was taking in his surroundings after waking from a nap.

My entry is #702
This is one of my favourite pictures of my sweet daughter. It was taken the week before I was diagnosed with cancer and my families world changed significantly. Life was truly filled with innocent wonder at the time.
My entry is #693. Wow…speechless at how many beautiful entries! My photo is of my daughter playing outside on a beautiful snowy day. I captured her tossing some soft fluffy snow in the air. I love the innocent wonder that compels almost every child to toss that fluffy white snow in the air! ♥
Best of luck to everyone!
My photo (#676) is a photo of my nephew on Christmas Eve. He is completely infatuated with anything to do with trains. So, when he opened his gift from his great grandmother he immediately put it together, and laid in the middle of the tracks…just in awe of the little metal and plastic toy going around him.
Good luck to everyone. There are so pretty awesome photos!
I stumbled upon this contest looking for Lego ideas for my sons upcoming party. I had been interested in entering a few photo contest and thought this would be the perfect opportunity. My photo is #640. I love seeing all the different interpretations of what “Innocent Wonder” means to us all. The pictures are all beautiful! Best of luck!
#671 This was taken right before Maisy’s 2nd birthday. I was at the park doing family pictures for another family and she looked so cute that day I just had to take a few pictures of her swinging with her pettiskirt filling up the swing
The best was another with her backside in the swing but I couldn’t use it because it doesn’t show a face

This past Christmas saw my 3-1/2 year old granddaughter in her first ever Christmas pageant. This was something she really wanted to do in spite of the fact that all the kids were at least 2-3 years older than she is. She learned almost all the songs from listening to the CDs and she was fabulous on the day of the pageant. I was popping with pride all day long. And I was doubly lucky because I was able to capture this wonderful shot of her, a look that tells what Christmas is all about.

Do I get disqualified for including other things on my post? Yours is the only photo hop and picture, then I update my Project 52, and include a F ollow Tuesday button at the bottom. I like to include that one because it draws more people to see the picture and it also sends them to you if it’s something they want to participate in. There are no Linky’s attached… Please let me know. Thanks ;D

#599!!! Wow that is a LOT of entries!
This was while we were messing around taking Valentines type pictures last week and she saw a bird or something out the window, I just LOVE the look on her face in it!!! When I saw that the theme this week was innocent wonders it was the first picture I thought of
I’m no photographer, but when I saw this contest I thought of this photo of my daughter. I was taking some pictures of her when she just decided to turn away and look deep in thought, as though she was day-dreaming.
Love this week’s challenge! So fun, I have a great idea in mind

So many wonderful entries!! #556 is my one of my most favorite photos from my 2010 sessions. Best of luck to everyone!
My grandaughter, Natalie, has a face that can display wonder, mischief, frustration, and so many emotions. I hope the image of her being introduced to her new baby brother fits this week’s theme!
There are so many great photos! My post is #525. This little boy was so much fun to work with and his sweet personality comes to life in this shot. Good luck everyone!
My post is 539. It goes with the caption or comment above. These are the most amazing photos of these pretty little faces. Loving them all.
We took my daughter to the zoo, and she wanted to feed the birds. I got one of the parakeets to perch on my hand, and she was so in awe of having a birdie this close to her!
