Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a New Year greetings to you!

We want to thank everyone who has made I Heart Faces an important part of their daily routine. By joining in the photo challenges, inspiring others and offering up words of encouragement… you have all truly made I Heart Faces a wonderful place to be during this past year!

It’s been a busy year and we are gearing up for another year that is sure to be packed full of more amazing things! We are officially taking a vacation for the rest of December to enjoy our families and work on exciting changes for the new year.  In January, our challenges will begin again with some fun added twists.

You can always find us on Facebook, so be sure to “like” us to see what’s going on during the holidays. Please sign-up for our e-news to be among the first to find out what changes we’ll be making in the New Year!

Upcoming Photo Challenges

Mark your calendars! Our photo challenges will resume on January 3, 2011.

  • January 3rd – “Absolute Best Face Photo of 2010″

We encourage each of you to look back over all the photos you took in 2010. Did your photography improve during that time? Did your style change a bit (or a lot)? Do you have a new photographic vision when you look through the viewfinder of your camera?

For the challenge this week, we will all be sharing our very favorite face photo that we took in 2010 (and yes, it must be a human face.) To try out something new, YOU will be the judge for this week’s challenge by voting on your favorites throughout the week. Fun!!

  • January 10th – “Smiles”

We have a fabulous surprise judge lined up during this week when we’ll be celebrating I Heart Face’s 2nd birthday (woot!!)  In honor of the fun this judge will be bringing to our site that week, our theme will be all about smiles and the joy they bring to each of us.

See more upcoming challenges here.

This is the perfect time to explore our website’s wonderful tutorials, videos, freebies and inspirational photos!

Also, be sure to click on our sponsor’s buttons over in the right hand bar. They make this site possible and are all truly amazing companies!

We can’t wait to tell you about our upcoming changes! In the meantime, have a wonderful Holiday. We’ll see you in 2011!!!

- Angie, Amy & The I Heart Faces Team

P.S. We’ll be helping teach a photography workshop at the Blissdom Conference in Nashville on January 26th. If you are a blogger, be sure to check it out.

It is known that money can make us independent. But what to do if one does not have cash? The only one way is to try to get the credit loans and auto loan.

I may be a bit biased as your sister, but I am so proud of what you and Amy have created through this site for photographers of all levels. I know that if it weren’t for I Heart Faces, the photos I take now would still look like they did 10 years ago. (Not good!) It has been such a wonderful experience to see people who were absolute newbies when this site started up now having a successful professional photography business. A wonderful, supportive community has grown through this site, and for that I am grateful! Enjoy your well-deserved break.

Thank you, ladies. Enjoy your well-deserved break and family time (Amy, please hide your scissors… ). I appreciate ALL that you have done with this site in the past two years and ALL that it has meant to me personally. And when you add in the IHF community site, with the forums and the opportunity to connect with other photo-crazy folks, it just boggles the mind. Oh, wait.. how about your rockin’ workshop (that I WILL find a way to attend next year…!). Not to mention the personal inspiration from your individual blogs. I really don’t know how you both manage to fit in all that you do, and do well, but I’m very thankful that you do. Wishing you both a Merry Christmas and a New Year that makes this one pale in comparison. (((hugs)))
