Every month we like to give ourselves a week off from going through entries, interviewing a Guest Judge and writing the Winners Post. We enjoy our little “vacations” so much. :)
We still like to provide everyone with a fun way to show off their photographs and link in their stories though. This week we are featuring a non-competition theme of “My Dinner Recipe In Photos.”
We love Ree Drummond and the way she presents her delicious recipes on her popular The Pioneer Woman website. We’d love for you to share a dinner recipe, step-by-step, through photos. {Not a requirement, but it’s a fun way to add more photos.}
The only rule for this entry is that you add our button to your post. Other than that you can display any and all photos to show off your delicious dinner recipe. Yum!
{Start thinking about next week’s special theme when we’ll be breaking away from faces for one week only while we welcome an amazing food photographer judge during an “I Heart Beef” food challenge. It’s going to be a week of so much fun!}

I linked to a post I wrote a couple of months ago, about my mis-adventure in cooking chicken on the grill. It came out awesome the first time I made it, so I made it again and took pictures this time, only things didn’t work out so well… instead I looked out the back door and saw my dinner on fire!

I photographed a new twist on old favorites. Bratwurst take a crazy turn by being seared in a pan, de-glazed with a dark beer, then served over pasta with steamed veggies and caramelized onions!

Brunch is well known, and in our family we made up linner as a big mid afternoon meal combining lunch and dinner. But my favorite fun meal is BRUPPER–breakfast supper. Your kids will love it if you mix it up a bit and do your first meal last. Check out ChiIL Mama this week for a fun, kringle coffee cake that can be shaped into anything you want. Your imagination’s the limit. Breakfast….It’s what’s for dinner.
