Permalink has been reset on my post. I was unaware of the linking back to I HEART FACES as opposed to more importantly utilizing the icon for the challenge. Please reconsider my entry as it was submitted under the timeline. Thanks.

I didn’t have time to get my post up in time for the contest but I put one up anyway on my blog because I think this is a very important topic and I had the perfect picture for it. I guess since I didn’t enter maybe I can use it next year if you do a pink week ;) Thanks so much for having such a wonderful site to learn from and make new friends!

My daughter misses my mom– her grandma– though she never got to meet her.

I am so bummed…I blogged a pink entry and submitted it via Mr. Linky on Monday, but it didn’t show up right away. Afraid to enter it again in the event that it would post twice and I’d be disqualified, I didn’t retry it. Now I don’t see my entry. Is there anything that I can do? My entry is listed on my blog in this entry – http://jenniferleighphotos.blogspot.com/2010/10/babies.html

Thanks for any help you can be or for considering my entry!

I incorporated pink into the outfits my daughter and her doll are wearing, and in the special pink ribbon my daughter is wearing in honor of my grandmother, who lost a breast to cancer, thankfully, not her life.

My little sister has been learning about cancer awareness because of this month… and she is all into drawing… so, I incooperated pink into my entry by capturing her as she drew the pink ribbons on a sheet of paper. c:

Hey… I posted my photo early Monday morning.. I think it was one of the top 50. It was up long enough for me to get six or seven comments on it, but now it’s gone. I’ve only entered a couple of times, so I could have done something wrong, but I’ve read through everything and can’t figure out why it would have gotten removed :( Can you guys let me know so I don’t make the mistake again next time?

I used a picture taken of my daughter at a Victorian teahouse. We had a great time trying on the different hats–of course her favorite one was piled high with pink flowers. We went with my mother– so all three generations had a wonderful outing…so glad we are all together, healthy and happy!

I’m so excited about this weeks challenge. I already had the perfect pic ready to submit. My dd had modeled a pair of hot pink and black bows for a designer (Erin’s designs) and was wearing a hot pink petti skirt to coordinate. With her electric blue eyes and all the fluff of hot pink from the petti skirt it has been one of my all time favorite photos of her EVER!!! I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I have.

Best wishes to everyone,

Christie Archer

My picture was inspired by the NFL players who wear pink shoes, gloves, wristbands etc., for Breast Cancer awareness! I dug through a big bin full of girl clothes that was given to me by my sister-in-law (I have a little boy, no pink clothes in his closet!) and found some pink shoes that fit him.

Love this challenge! :)

I used a photo of my daughter that I turned in for a photo assignment. It was orignally a window light photo. I went into photoshop and made it black and white and added a bit of color to pink it up. It’s fun to play with the pictures I have already taken. I am enjoying looking at others well.

Like most little girls, my sister’s favorite color is pink. Sometimes I can’t help but wonder if her obsession goes deeper, making up for the Pink her first mother lacked. She is shy and giggly, and even more so in front of a camera. Yesterday morning, i caught this darling waiting outside to leave for school in her favorite pink coat.

I found a pic I had already from last year. However I just remembered I had one I might like better still on my memory card in my camera. :(

With so many little girl photographs taken everyday, there is almost always pink…especially for newborns since they all look like fragile little birds…looking all the same. It is also a reminder of the unique issues little girls will face in their lifetime and how important it is to educate them that they can control the destiny of their health!

I’ve used pink in the post-processing of my image of Lily at 6 months old – she’s a true little girl, and always so smiley! Babies and Mums need healthy breasts so it’s great to see so many little bubs this week :)

I love the idea of pink for Breast Cancer! I couldn’t help but use the one of my friend’s little girl with her super adorable pink dress in her 9 month photos we took. I have quite of few people I know that are breast cancer survivors and I think this is an awesome way to recognize this month!!
