Welcome to this week’s photo challenge where all skill levels of photographers are able to join in the fun!

This week’s theme is in celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Your photo entry should include a human face and the color pink! We know many of us have been touched by this disease, so sharing your stories with your photo would be wonderful. Let’s remind everyone what month it is and encourage women to get a mammogram.

Enter your photo on Mon. or Tues. (challenge closes Tuesdays at 9:00 pm CST) You are allowed to have ONE photo in your entry. Please make sure that you add our button to your blog post so that you’ll be eligible to win!

  • If you are newer to our site, please read our FAQ’s.
  • Photo entries must have a human face in them!
  • If your entry has been deleted, it is because you entered your link incorrectly. Please go ahead and reenter it correctly using a permalink to your post.

Permalink has been reset on my post. I was unaware of the linking back to I HEART FACES as opposed to more importantly utilizing the icon for the challenge. Please reconsider my entry as it was submitted under the timeline. Thanks.

I didn’t have time to get my post up in time for the contest but I put one up anyway on my blog because I think this is a very important topic and I had the perfect picture for it. I guess since I didn’t enter maybe I can use it next year if you do a pink week 😉 Thanks so much for having such a wonderful site to learn from and make new friends!

My daughter misses my mom– her grandma– though she never got to meet her.

I am so bummed…I blogged a pink entry and submitted it via Mr. Linky on Monday, but it didn’t show up right away. Afraid to enter it again in the event that it would post twice and I’d be disqualified, I didn’t retry it. Now I don’t see my entry. Is there anything that I can do? My entry is listed on my blog in this entry –

Thanks for any help you can be or for considering my entry!

I incorporated pink into the outfits my daughter and her doll are wearing, and in the special pink ribbon my daughter is wearing in honor of my grandmother, who lost a breast to cancer, thankfully, not her life.

My little sister has been learning about cancer awareness because of this month… and she is all into drawing… so, I incooperated pink into my entry by capturing her as she drew the pink ribbons on a sheet of paper. c:

Hey… I posted my photo early Monday morning.. I think it was one of the top 50. It was up long enough for me to get six or seven comments on it, but now it’s gone. I’ve only entered a couple of times, so I could have done something wrong, but I’ve read through everything and can’t figure out why it would have gotten removed 🙁 Can you guys let me know so I don’t make the mistake again next time?
