Post image for Fix-It Friday #70 • Photo Editing Fun!

It’s Fix-It Friday, a weekly event where our contributors edit the same photo and readers can join the fun by editing their own and linking to the party! Today we’ll be using a photo that Amy Locurto took of her beautiful little girl. It was one in a series of photos but this one had some blur/focusing issues that we thought it would be good to practice our sharpening skills with.  :)

{Edit above by Michelle Johnson.}

We are going to be “Dreaming Big” at our I Heart Faces Workshop in Dallas this year!

We just opened up registration yesterday afternoon and our exclusive Advanced Photographer class is almost full (sign up for that one immediately if you’d like to attend.)  Our Beginner Photographer class has a lot more openings in it and there is still plenty of space left.  We cannot wait to meet you all there!

Dana, Susan and Michelle: Lovely editing u all did. Amy’s daughter is just beautiful. The sharpening of her eyes made them twinkle and just connects with me *smiles*. I especially love the second version of what Dana did. Loving the canvas texture! Thank you…

Love Dana’s edit, but what an angel this child is! She doesn’t need much, does she? :)

And, hahahahaha! Dana, I adore your “written diarrhea” … :-D
And I really liked how you used one of Michelle’s photo veils to create a “canvas”.

These are great edits! Dana: I like the way the B&W really popped her eyes! And Susan, you’re a photo flipper! I never think to do that, it’s amazing the difference it makes. Michelle, I love the brushes you added.
