How fun to have had Karen Walrond from Chookooloonks as our Guest Photographer Judge this week! There were so many wonderful surprise entries. Karen said narrowing down the photos was one of the hardest things she’s had to do! In her words, “Brutal”:-)

Again, great treatment, and perfect capture of a face contorted in shock. -Karen

I love how the surprise is conveyed not just by her face, but by her hands. You can almost hear her shriek just by staring at the photo.
4th Place: Jamilah’s Creative Touch
I love how this photograph truly captures an instant in time when the groom sees his bride for the very first time.
5th Place: Jodie Oliver
This photograph SLAYS me. You get the feeling that everyone is thrilled about the drop that has suddenly occurred, except for the little boy second from the left, who clearly had no idea what was coming. I hope his mother was waiting for him when he got off to hug him!
