I had a fake purple flower that my daughter loves to chase the bog with! hehe. I pop’d her in her tutu and tried to get her to pose- no luck with 1 year olds. Fortunately I was quick enough to get an amazing shot! Just a tiny touch of purple to accent all the muted pinks and greens!

We painted the kids’ room purple before my son was born. This is my daughter’s face scrutinizing her future room mate’s for one of the first times.

Fortunately when Ashleigh wanted me to take her pictures, she had some purple in her dress, perfect for this weeks competition, the first I have ever entered.
Bri loves her “beat down” purple tutu. I found a gold basketball at a flea market and took some photos while she was playing with it. I love purple:)
My photo (#101) is one of my FAVORITE aspects of small town life – the enthusiastic turnout for the high school’s sporting events.

my picture (#64) is of my little sister in her purple, peppa pig t-shirt holding an blackberry izze bottle. her two favorite things – and they just happened to be purple!
I used a purple Hydrangea Petal hat that I made using silk flowers.
We played with purple yarn. It was fun!

The wall for the background of this picture turned out an amazing shade of purple when photographed. The bright contrasts of colors really had me excited about this photoshoot.

Umm I used my blogspot and I didnt see until now where it says to add the link as a permalink to the blog post and not to your home page so how do I create a permalink to my Blogspot page? I dont see an option to do that anywhere LOL. Can anyone help so I dont get my entry deleted?

My entry this is week (first entry ever) is entitled “sunrise cowgirl”. This is my daughter and I think this pic captures her sweet playful nature. I’m lucky to be her mom. We just walked down to a park near our house really early one morning and since I knew we’d catch the sunrise I dressed her up for a few quick pics.

This challenge is purple-licious! What fun!
I have 2 young boys so there isn’t a lot of purple happening in my pictures. Luckily my son was wearing a purple polo shirt when we went to a sunflower field! I love looking at everyone’s pictures!!

Just the toy in the pic is purple … but I love the long eyelashes and big blue eyes.
Fun contest this week. I had to dig to find a purple pic though.
Great pics this week! I love the purple theme…had to think on this one! I ended up submitting a photo of my daughter taken yesterday in Colorado…the background is my purple….the amazing Rocky Mountains, hence the name “purple mountain majesty”.

This is my first time entering a photo challenge. My subject, well we just met. At the grocery store in fact. I was very excitied that she was willing to be my model, and we were able to tailor the shoot to a purple theme. I would be very interested in what people think, i have not had much expeirence photographing people.

My hydrangeas are absolutely stunning in blues and purple hues right now. I have been so inspired by so many fellow photographer’s and equally inspired by my beautiful children, and this is one of many results!

I got lucky and caught one of my boys checking out the purple flowers in our yard!
I knew a girl who was crazy about purple. She was more than happy to oblige me with a photo shoot.
My oldest loves her guitar and her favorite color happens to be purple. The guitar? Also purple. I asked her to be my model for a little photo shoot and she willingly obliged, though the picture I entered was the first I took. She looks very serious there, but she was thinking of a song to sing while sitting in the tree holding her guitar.
