Angie and Amy-
First of all, thanks so much for all the time/work you put into the site. I love it!
Secondly, I was wondering if it would make it more difficult for you guys if I had smaller icons of other photos that fit the theme. I know it says in the rules that your entry should be the only photo in the post, but sometimes I have such a hard time choosing and would love comments on other shots. I would set it up like this: http://mkgrunder.blogspot.com/2010/06/six-threesixfive.html just with the button between my entry and the smaller pictures. I figured I’d ask because I don’t want to make anything more difficult for you guys!
Thanks again
Megan

Angie and Amy-
First of all, thanks so much for all of the time/work you put into the site. I love it! Secondly, I know the rules say that your entry should be the only photo in the post, but I was wondering if it would be possible to set up an entry like this http://mkgrunder.blogspot.com/2010/06/six-threesixfive.html only with the button in before the smaller pictures. I would love to put alternate ideas for the theme to hear opinions on them, but don’t want to make anything more difficult for you guys. Thanks!

My photo involves a bucket of water over my son’s head! He was doing a victory lap around the pool after hitting a wiffle ball over the fence (our vacation version of a homerun!).

I love doing these challenges since it gives me a reason to photograph my boys more.

I decided to capture my almost four year old with the toy collection he keeps on his headboard. I can always tell which ones are his current favorites by where they are located on the headboard.

So I moved my blog yesterday and as a result my link no longer works. Whoops! I just entered it again (glad I noticed it no longer worked!), but wanted to let you know so you could remove the first one.

My first entry is at the end of row 17 – titled “Ice Cream”.

the way my picture portrayed “over the head” was the way her hair is over her face. also, i guess, the way the camera is positioned, over her head. :)

Another challenge idea -

self portraits?

I posted this years annual beach picture of my son throwing his daughter up in the air. This year a few of them were in silhouette and though that wasn’t my intention….they’re quite lovely.

In my entry this week, I have a pair of sisters. One is several years older and a lot taller…. then the other one. And in the picture, the younger sister has her older sister directly above her head in an embrace.

Great challenge this week! At first I didn’t think I had a pic to enter then I remember a shot I took of a littler one. I was standing up looking down at him and he also had a cute little hat “over his head”. I had to enter my pic twice. This first link was not linking back to my site. Second time around it worked…….sorry about that. :o )

I’ve been lurking around on your site for several weeks now – a “professional” photographer friend had linked to y’all on facebook. Already I’ve learned so much and feel like my pictures are improving by leaps and bounds! So I had to jump in to this challenge with one of my daughter’s many “up in the tree” pictures. Thanks for all the inspiration!
