This challenge is now CLOSED.
We are so excited to feature our first ever Teens-Only photo challenge! And by Teens-Only, we mean that you have to be a teen to enter a photo! 
So, if you are between the ages of 13-19, this is the week for you to shine. If you are an adult, please DO NOT enter a photo into the challenge this week.
There are several ways that a teen can enter a photo this week: Through their own personal blog; through their parent’s blog, through a free Flickr account; or through their account in our I Heart Faces Community. As always, please do not use your Facebook account to enter a photo into our challenges.
This week’s guidelines:
- You can only have one photo in your entry
- That photo must have a human face in it
- You should add our button to your post
- In the Linky Tool, add a permalink to your blog post (NOT a link to the home page of your blog)
And that’s it! Super easy for anyone to join in the fun!

Is I heart faces for girls only, I haven’t seen another guy on here yet. LOL
Awww, I was hoping to enter this but I didn’t have time to find/take a photo. I hope you all will do another teens-only challenge again?!? Please?!

@Dea, @Hayley and @Jenny – This guideline was posted on Tuesday morning (since the challenge had to start later than usual it also had to close down earlier than usual so that we would have time to get through all of the entries.) We actually ended up leaving the challenge open hours past noon to give people extra time.
Go ahead and email your permalink to me right away (iheartfaces @ hotmail . com with no spaces) and I will try to add it for you.

My friend and I have been working on looking forward to submitting out photos for the past two days. It was our first i heart faces, and now, sadly, we cannot link our pics here because the contest closed down at noon instead of nine like every other week. (We know other people who usually submit). I worked really hard, and this really makes me sad that you closed it down early. Good luck to everyone else!
Oh how sad! My kids have been working on this for the last several days. They’ve created blogs, ventured on a shoot, and finely-tuned their posts. Now, I have to tell them that they missed the deadline because I didn’t read the fine print. ;( After posting for the last year, I guess I got used to the late deadline! Boo. ;(

I guess I should’ve read when the challenge shut down, I just assumed it was wednesday night since its usually tuesday night. Aw and I was looking forward to entering. I was so excited and have been pondering over photos for days. Well poo. Maybe another teen week before March and I’m not a teen anymore? lol.
There are such wonderful entries out there though! Great job everyone!

How do we know that our photo was accepted in the challenge? I’ve been trying several ways since yesterday but I’m still unsure if it was entered. I put the comment under my photo on flickr, the community website here, and I tried the button as well.

I am excited about entering my photo, but I am unsure of how to put the iheartfaces button on my flickr photo. I looked for examples on other entries’ flickr accounts, and I don’t see one on theirs either. Can you help me out? Thanks! (:
This is so exciting! My only difficulty is that I can’t get Mr. Linky to work. When I try to upload a thumbnail image, it says to select a picture by browsing, and then to hit “next”. But there isn’t a “next” button. Am I just missing something?

According to the FAQ page (under How it Works) photographers are supposed to be 16 and older unless there is a special category (like this week). I don’t know about this week. Can’t wait to see your stuff up here in a few years though!
