the newborn coos and sleepy faces make me melt.
the absolute joy of first gummy smiles make my heart leap.
and the discoveries of childhood amaze me.
i like it all … for different reasons.
but that newborn baby fuzzy hair smells brand new warmth in your arms part is probably my favorite. for reals. kinda. i think.

I LOVE the "terrible twos".
I don't think they are terrible at all!
This is the age where they are talking more, their personalities are really beginning to emerge, and they are just an absolute joy. I'll always remember the first time my first daughter grabbed my hand and looked up at me to say, "I love you Mamma". She was just about 2.
MELT.
Such a great, great, age.

I think every stage has it's challenges too but I do love each one of them! I have a 9yr old, 7yr.old and 2 yr.old and I'm ready to have another cause I do miss the baby stage. Baby stage is fun cause even though they are extremely dependent on you they haven't learned how to talk back yet hehe :P

I have 6 yr old twins and a 16 month old daughter and have 6 younger siblings. I'm probably the outsider but….I don't like the infant stage. I LOVE toddlers!! Yes, the mess, the attitude, the getting into every nook and cranny! My favorite stage of childhood :)

My favorite stage was always sitting and not crawling. All four of our children really enjoyed themselves at this stage. They would play endlessly with toys that surrounded them. As they all get older (9, 7, 5, 5) I love how they are becoming their own people with amazing personalities. Minus some of the arguing :)

Gosh, I love them all. Every stage brings new job and excitement. Right now my daughter is 7 months old and is learning things so quickly and becoming more independent each day. it is just amazing!

My favorite stage was the one when my daughter was 10 days old. She was so quiet ! The photo I chose was taken on our bed with her looking right at me, love it!

Every stage is my favorite (so far)!! My oldest is only 2, so I know there's much more fun ahead. :)

I can't pick a favorite stage of babyhood, although I think my least favorite is the first few weeks of exhaustion and sleepless nights. But even that is bearable!

Golly – I really did not enjoy my first 6 weeks….don't think I had any idea what i was doing! From a bout 6 months on was great…..for me every new step is great and I appreciate them all far more now that he is getting so big at 5 that I ever did when he was a baby.

Favourite baby stage? Right now, 10 months. ;) Watching my girlie as she explores her world is amazing!

But really, I love all the stages!! I have an 11yr old, 9yr old, 7yr old, 6yr old, and 10 months. Every stage is unique, and fun!

I loved 4 months to about a year. They just learn SO much in those 8 months and it's fun to watch!

All these baby photos are amazing and I'm getting so many ideas! Now to find a friend with a baby to photograph…

Wow. I haven't decided yet, which stage I like best. I was never a babies person, growing up, but now I have two of my own, one six months, one three years. My six-month-old is the light of my life right now. He hasn't learned to question yet, and he looks at me with such trust in his eyes. But the rewards my toddler gives me with her words and cuddles – "I love you SOOOO much, Mommy…" – it blows me away inside. Do I have to pick a favorite stage? ;-)

I can't wait to look through some of these!

My son is 22 months now and I've said through every "stage" that it was the best one so I can't really say which one was my favorite. I absolutely LOVE this age he is at now and am having so much fun with him. There is nothing quite like infant cuddles though. They're all great stages!

Is it okay to say I love every stage? That's what I tell my colleagues when they ask. I loved the baby in the belly feelings, the first real smiles of recognition, the first time my kids said Mama and it wasn't a fluke, the "I think I can" crawling and then walking stages, the "I can do it myself" toddler stage, all of them… And now I am living in the preteen and two-year-terror stage at the same time. The nuances of it are irreplacable and amazing. I LOVE being Mommy.

I think my favorite stage so far is right NOW, at 4 years old. She's turning out to be a perfomer and I'm loving her do hip-hip, ballet, gymnastics and marimba. Her personality is just coming out more in what she does and says. Which of course includes some sassiness…arrgh! Definitely getting 4 going on 14 moments but, mostly it's fun! (and, yes, sleeping all night and no diapers is great!)

gorgeous photos everyone, my son is 2 1/2 now so this is giving me a little bit of baby fever!

My favourite baby stage with my son was probably around 6-9 months… the crying 24/7 part was pretty much over and he started to be a lot more fun!

That photo of the baby with the lush black hair on the brown fuzzy blanket has to be one of the most amazing photos I've ever seen. What a beautiful little person!

I love this theme, too, and can't wait to look through the pictures!

My favorite stage with my babies was probably 6-9 months. Babies just seem HAPPY at that stage. Plus, they're not running around all over the place like crazy yet. :)

I've really loved every stage for different reasons…but when my youngest turned 3, it all of the sudden hit me how much easier life had gotten with all of them potty trained and somewhat independent. I adore the itty-bitty baby stage, but I really love the full nights of sleep I get now. Hee!
