Software Used: Lightroom 3.1 (LR) & Photoshop CS5 (PS)
Actions/Presets/Textures Used: One Willow Presets (OW)

This image totally made me smile the second I opened it. This is just not an image I would mess much with, beyond warming a tiny bit and brightening a little. Thus, in my book, this is a perfect image to edit beginning to end in Lightroom. Here are three quickie edits I played with in LR.

1. One Willow JPG preset – Alice
2. Fiddled with settings – increased fill light +9, brightness +18, vibrance +34
3. Tho I totally loves me some fish-eye, I went ahead and enabled Lens Profile, which unbent some of the trees, and took the 15 lbs that this lens added to this young man right back off again. One Click Magic! In Lightroom!!!

1. Made a virtual copy from the original.
2. One Willow JPG preset – Golden Shimmer, with some of the toning removed.
3. Left fish eye effect alone.

1. Made another virtual copy from the original.
2. Decided to play with cropping. Quick crop + quick, slopping cloning in bottom left corner. (Don’t look too close, cause it’s totally obvious, and probably a little tacky).
3. One Willow JPG preset – Roselyn I
4. Added brightness +28, fill light + 5, contrast -8.
5. Added vignette.
6. Enabled Lens Profile to unbend trees.

I totally love a great roadtrip adventure with my dudes, or a cozy afternoon curled up with a good book. “Reality” tv totally sucks me in. I prefer my chocolate to be semi-sweet and my Diet Coke to have a squirt of root beer in it. Photography makes my heart sing and waterskiing leaves me sore & limping but deeply satisfied.
