Today’s tutorial is about how to make a really quick fix when you just don’t have much time. I got home from parent-teacher conferences and was ready to head to bed.
Here’s a super quick fix…can you believe I didn’t even use the RAW editor?
1. I used the healing brush and blur tool to clean up some hair on her face. (I used the blur tool on the hair that is angled toward her mouth.)
2. Adjusted levels
3. Ran Pioneer Woman’s free action “Lovely & Ethereal” and reduced the opacity to 25%.
4. Unsharp Mask (50-1.4-0, 5-250-0)
(This became the base for 3 fixes. Each time I started a new version, I went back to this spot.)
Fix 1 – Florabella’s Soft Urban (full strength)
Fix 2 – Florabella’s Vintage Buttercup (Full Strength)
Fix #3 – Pioneer Woman’s “B&W Beauty” (Full Strength) and Florabella’s Milk & Honey (37%)
How’s that for quick? This is where actions are really useful…they give you some cool looks without investing much time. Just what I needed today. :)
